Delfin Tower: the building with a sail-shapped silhouette

UBA Unbuilt Architecture, the 3D Visualization and Architectural model studio located in Valencia, has built the architectural model for the Delfin Tower. The Delfin Tower is going to be the next brand new building in Benidorm, the most turistic place in Alicante (Valencian Community) and will occupy the last free plot in the first line of the Poniente Beach in Benidorm.
After months of hard work, we are glad to reveal the architectural model of the Delfin Tower, a spectacular building with a sail-shaped silhouette.

The Delfin Tower 

Our team is glad to show how the Delfin Tower looks like as a maquette. UBA Unbuilt Architecturehas build  this realistic architectural model that will be use to promote the luxury residential building in Benidorm.
The most difficult part of the model was the curved facade and the curved side. For the facade a textile element with double curvature was used on a superstructure, as it would be done in reality but at the scale of the model. On the structure giving the curvature, the skin has been put on with a metal mesh cut by hand. The model has its own lighting integrated in the core of it. A detailed work by the UBA Unbuilt Architecture team that pretends to realistically reproduce each architectural element of the project.

A new sustainable building in Benidorm

The new building of the skyline of Benidorm will become a benchmark of the urban plan of the city as it has the LEED Gold certification. The buildings that have this label have the requirements of sustainability, energy efficiency, use of alternative energy, improvement of the internal enviromental quality etc. The Delfin Tower will be the first LEED gold building in the Valencian Community and one of the most important and spectacular in Spain. The acquisition of the home includes an electric BMW car and an electric bike in order to promote the LEED Gold sustainability.
